Site & legal pages
Nest Cub publishes research-based product information. This page explains, in plain terms, what our content is, what it is not, and where its limits sit. Read it before you rely on anything here.
Research-based, not tested
We do not test products in a laboratory, in a home, or in a vehicle. We do not assemble, install, drive with, run behind or live with the products we write about. Every figure on this site comes from published manufacturer documentation, a published safety standard or a regulatory record, and every rating reflects aggregated verified owner reviews and published expert consensus. Nothing here is a measured test result. Where a manufacturer publishes no figure for a specification, we record that gap rather than estimating one.
Informational purposes only
All content on this site is provided for general information. It is not professional advice and must not be treated as a substitute for it. Your child, your vehicle, your walls and your room are specific; our content is general. Where a decision has safety consequences, confirm it against the product’s own documentation and, where relevant, with a qualified professional.
Not medical or developmental advice
Nest Cub covers product safety, not child health. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no article should be used to diagnose, treat or make decisions about a child’s health, development, sleep, feeding or wellbeing. Speak to your paediatrician, midwife or another qualified healthcare professional about those questions.
Installation and fitting
Our installation and DIY content is written to help you understand a process, not to certify your result. Furniture must be anchored according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the hardware supplied, into a suitable structural fixing. A car seat installation should be checked in person by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician; a web page cannot verify the fit of a specific seat in a specific vehicle.
Specifications change
Manufacturers revise products without notice and often keep the same model name across revisions. Dimensions, weight capacities, fit ranges, materials and certifications may differ from what we recorded at the time of writing. Always confirm critical figures against the product label and the manufacturer’s current documentation before purchasing or using a product. If you spot a figure that has changed, tell us at hello@nestcub.com.
Safety standards
Where we reference a standard such as ASTM F2057, ASTM F2388, ASTM F833 or FMVSS 213, we are describing the published rule that applies to a product category. Compliance with a mandatory standard is a legal minimum, not a guarantee of safety in every situation, and it does not remove the need to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Recall status changes over time; check current notices with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission at cpsc.gov, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at nhtsa.gov for car seats.
Affiliate relationships
This site contains affiliate links and earns commission from qualifying purchases, primarily through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Commission never changes what we recommend, and it never changes the price you pay. See the Affiliate Disclosure for the full arrangement.
External links
We link to manufacturers, retailers, regulators and other publications. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, products or privacy practices. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nest Cub accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the information published here.
