This page explains which cookies Nest Cub uses, what each one is for, and how to switch them off. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On your next visit the browser sends it back, which is how a site can recognise a returning visitor, remember a preference, or attribute a purchase to the link you clicked. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work in comparable ways, and this policy covers them too.

We do not use cookies for advertising retargeting, and we do not build profiles for sale to third parties.

Third-party cookies

Analytics and affiliate cookies are set by third parties directly in your browser, and those companies process the resulting data under their own privacy policies. We can tell you what we have enabled and why; we cannot control what those providers do beyond the settings available to us, which is why the ability to refuse them matters.

Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete existing ones, or refuse third-party cookies specifically. The controls sit in these places:

• Chrome — Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
• Safari — Settings, then Privacy, then Block all cookies or Prevent cross-site tracking.
• Firefox — Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Enhanced Tracking Protection and Cookies and Site Data.
• Edge — Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
• Mobile browsers — the same options appear under Settings, usually within a Privacy section.

Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly. Blocking analytics or affiliate cookies will not affect your reading experience at all — the pages look and behave the same.

Do Not Track and global privacy signals

Browsers may send a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal. There is still no uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track. Where we are legally required to honour a recognised opt-out preference signal, we do.
