Affiliate Disclosure

Nest Cub earns money through affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, because you are entitled to know the commercial relationship behind anything you read here.

How affiliate links work

When you click a product link on this site and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. That percentage comes out of the retailer’s margin, not out of your pocket. Attribution is handled by a cookie set by the retailer, which typically lasts for a limited window after the click. We receive aggregated reports of what was purchased; we do not receive your name, address, payment details or order contents.

Which programs we participate in

Amazon Associates is our primary affiliate program. We may join additional retailer or network programs relevant to nursery furniture, car seats and strollers over time. Whichever program a link belongs to, the disclosure on this page and the in-page disclosure adjacent to our first product link apply equally.

FTC compliance

United States Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements and testimonials, at 16 CFR Part 255, requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between a publisher and a seller. We meet that requirement in three places: on this page, in the site footer on every page, and inline within any article that contains an affiliate link, placed near the first such link rather than buried at the end.

What commission does not change

• What we recommend. Our conclusions are drawn from published specifications, the applicable safety standard and verified owner reviews. Commission rates play no part in which products are covered or how they rank.
• What we publish about a product’s weaknesses. Trade-offs, gaps in published documentation and unfavourable specifications are stated whether or not a product is linked.
• The price you pay. An affiliate link is the same price as an ordinary link.
• Which products we include. A product without an available affiliate link is still covered if it belongs in the comparison.

What we do not accept

No manufacturer, retailer or brand pays Nest Cub for placement, for a favourable write-up, for a particular ranking, or for the right to review a draft before publication. We do not publish sponsored posts dressed up as editorial. If that ever changes, the arrangement will be labelled unmistakably on the page it affects, not disclosed only here.

Prices and availability

Prices, availability and product details displayed through affiliate links or feeds are supplied by the retailer and can change at any time. The figure shown at the point of purchase is the one that applies. Nest Cub is not the seller and cannot honour, adjust or guarantee any price.
